Operating Partners & Collaboration

Operating Partners

Sabazan executes through a network of experienced operating partners, advisors, and specialized collaborators aligned to individual platforms and initiatives. Engagements are structured based on operational, technical, and geographic requirements.

Capital Solutions

Sabazan Investments provides structured capital advisory and facilitation services designed to align financing solutions with the operational realities of complex transactions—rather than forcing projects to conform to rigid lender frameworks. Leveraging a global financial network, Sabazan supports sponsors, developers, and operating partners in structuring flexible debt and credit solutions, including the facilitation of Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) arrangements, reserve structures, and institutional-grade capital enhancements.

All solutions are subject to third-party diligence, underwriting, and approval. Sabazan is not a bank or direct lender. The firm operates as a strategic capital advisor and intermediary, coordinating among sponsors, financial institutions, SBLC providers, escrow agents, and legal counsel to deliver bankable, execution-ready financing frameworks.

Structured Financing Capabilities

Sabazan supports capital structures that may include:

Long-dated tenors (typically 5–30 years)
Flexible amortization aligned to project cash flows
Customized or limited reserve requirements
Expansion and accordion features at pre-negotiated terms
Financial covenants designed to preserve long-term liquidity
Capital solutions structured to minimize unnecessary equity dilution, including hybrid or convertible frameworks where appropriate

Each engagement is evaluated on a project-specific basis, with solutions tailored to jurisdiction, collateral profile, and capital stack requirements.

Reserve & Credit Enhancement Structures

Where required by capital providers, Sabazan assists in the design and coordination of reserve and credit-enhancement mechanisms, commonly structured through:

Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs) — Sabazan facilitates access to SBLC providers through its institutional relationships. SBLCs are issued by independent, qualifying financial institutions and are subject to lender acceptance and transaction-specific approval criteria.
Escrow Arrangements — Escrow structures are established through third-party legal counsel and regulated escrow agents, with funds held at qualifying commercial banks.

SBLC Facilitation

Sabazan Investments facilitates access to Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) solutions through its global financial and institutional network.

SBLCs are issued solely by third-party banks or financial institutions
Sabazan does not issue, guarantee, or underwrite SBLCs
All SBLCs are subject to independent diligence, counterparty approval, and legal review

Sabazan's role is to structure, coordinate, and manage the SBLC process, aligning sponsors, providers, lenders, and counsel to ensure reserve instruments satisfy lender requirements while optimizing capital efficiency.

Role & Risk Clarification

Sabazan acts strictly as a strategic advisor and facilitator, not as a principal, lender, guarantor, or fiduciary. Risk allocation associated with any financing or reserve instrument is governed exclusively by agreements between the issuing institution, the lender, and the project sponsor. Sabazan does not assume balance-sheet risk.
